The total value of real estate investment transactions in Poland has been growing for 10 consecutive years reaching a record €7.5 billion in 2019. Furthermore the upward trend continues with falling yields and stable rents.

In 2018, the spectacular real estate investment volume of €7.2 billion was explained by a one off transaction of around €1 billion in respect of the sale of the M1 retail property portfolio. Despite the absence of such a large single transaction in 2019, the total volume still exceeded that of 2018.

The real estate investment market in Poland is becoming increasingly liquid. The number of transactions has been rising since 2015. In 2019 most of the recorded 130 transactions exceeded a price of €5 million. There was also a significant increase in the number of logistics and warehouse transactions almost equalling the number of retail transactions.
